Gobi & Central Steppes of Arkhangai

A journey that will take you from the dunes of the Gobi to the heart of the central steppes.


An itinerary of approximately 2,000 km.

Descend towards the Gobi, where you will visit the main sites: Tsagaan Suvarga, the Khongor dunes, the Yol Canyon, and the ochre cliffs of Bayanzag. Then, head back to the steppes of Arkhangai for a journey that blends culture and nature.

**Day 1 – Arrival in Ulaanbaatar**

- City tour – Overnight at a 3-star hotel in Ulaanbaatar

- Visit the Gandan Monastery and the Genghis Khan Museum

**Day 2 – Ulaanbaatar – Baga Gazariin Chuluu**

- Overnight with a nomadic family, in a guest yurt

**Day 3 – Departure to Gobi – Tsagaan Suvarga**

- Overnight with a nomadic family, in a guest yurt

- Travel time: 5 to 6 hours on paved roads, 1 hour on tracks

**Day 4 – Arrival in South Gobi – Yol Canyon**

- Overnight with a nomadic family, in a guest yurt

- Visit Erdenezuu Monastery and the Kharkhorin Museum

- Travel to the Jaaya family's camp

- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included


**Day 12 – Kharkhorin – Ulaanbaatar**

- Overnight at a 3-star hotel

- Distance: approximately 380 km

- Travel time: 5 to 6 hours

**Day 13 – International departure**

- Transfer to the airport with a private car, without a guide
