This trip offers an immersive experience in nomadic culture, featuring train travel, enriching encounters, and unique discoveries. You'll start in the mining city of Erdenet, venturing to the edge of the Siberian forest and exploring the magnificent Butèle camp in Bulgan province. Activities include ice fishing, a shamanic encounter, and deep dives into nomadic life and culture.

Next, you'll head north to the "Blue Pearl of Mongolia," Lake Khuvsgul, transformed into a mini ice cap by the winter's chill, for another adventure between nights in a nomadic family, horse-drawn sleigh experiences on the ice, and the comfort of Taiga Lodge right on the lakeshore.


Your Itinerary:


- Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, breakfast in the city, followed by a city tour including Gandan Monastery. Evening train departure to Erdenet.

- Day 2: Arrive in Erdenet and travel to Butèle camp. Settle into your chalet and enjoy the camp's facilities, including a sauna.


- Day 3: Ice fishing on the Eg River, known for its abundance of fish, followed by a meeting with a local shaman. Return to camp for dinner and a sauna.


- Day 4: Horseback ride to a nomadic family's camp. Experience life in a yurt and enjoy a traditional Mongolian lunch. Return to Butèle camp in the afternoon.


- Day 5: Meet another nomadic family and participate in preparing Khorkhog, a traditional Mongolian dish. Enjoy the meal and return to camp for relaxation.


- Day 6: Travel to Moron and Khatgal, settling into the Taiga Lodge on the shores of Lake Khuvsgul.


- Day 7: Immerse yourself in the nomadic life of Khuvsgul with a horse-drawn sleigh adventure on the frozen lake, meet the Mujig family for a night in true nomadic style.


- Day 8: Return to the Taiga Lodge by horse-drawn sleigh.


- Day 9: Depart for Moron then Erdenet, spending the night in a local hotel.


- Day 10: Travel back to Ulaanbaatar and settle into the Blue Sky Hotel.


- Day 11: Depart for the airport and your return flight.
